It's always a joy to be with you all ... my only problem is that I can only log on while I'm at the office (no computer at home!), so I don't get to come as often as I wish, or stay for as long as I want to.

Since I can only log on to the Forum while at my desk, I don't have much time to browse through all the Forums and take stock of all the topics -- a sad thing, indeed, because I miss all of you. I posted this here in the hope that -- if it had not yet been posted on the Forum -- it would reach as many members as possible, so that we can all join together in saying this beautiful prayer for Il Papa. However, as I said, if Christopher, as administrator, decides to place it elsewhere where it is more appropriate, then I defer to his greater wisdom.

Thank you very much, for the link to the Latin prayers. I will visit the site as soon as I can, and look up some of the prayers of my childhood ... I shall definitely look for the Prayer to St. Michael, which is another one of my personal "favorites", and is particularly meaningful in these most difficult of times.

Latin is such a beautiful language ... needless to say, I wept during the chant of the Litany of the Saints for John Paul the Beloved's transfer from the Sala Clementina to the Basilica. I thought, this is surely what it must be like, to listen to the angels praying. How fortunate are you, dear Teresa -- and the others on the Forum -- who can speak or read this most eloquent of tongues, from which the magnificent French, Italian and Spanish tongues find their origins! Although I can understand some words, I truly wish I was fluent in it ... I could pray the English translation of this prayer for Il Papa, but somehow, the Latin version feels more meaningful -- and, I thought Il Papa would have liked it, if I could pray this special prayer for him in one of the languages that is closest to his heart.

Wulfruna, thanks for your corrections (I've just read your message, and I've sent you an email with the file!)! Very much appreciated indeed, and I made the necessary changes. Sylbilmo and Budwud, I've also sent e-mails with the file to you, I hope they reach you soon! The design is very, very simple, just the words of the prayer, and the photos of Il Papa, but I hope that the card will be helpful to you.
