Member Posts: 4652 01/02/07 16:21:36 Member	Ofcourse, "Wulfruna" you are referring to the Jon Voight pic on J-P II....Which to the surprise of all of us, turned out to be really good (when one remembers how truly horrible and dimwitted Jon Voight and the movie on "Noah" was!)!!! But the "J-P II" movie has an actor, portraying Ratzinger. What I tried to show are movies with our Holy Father himself! Still, that idea is worthy of representation here as well, "Wulfruna"! I watched it immediately; and I was mesmerized watching Our Holy Father gaze into the face of Jesus. It IS the face of Jesus for sure; Papa knew this...you could see tears in his eyes. Our Papa always has the "presence" of Jesus by him, in consecration of the Eucharist, in the Confessional, while speaking at the Lecturn, in Homilies and Addresses....He reveres frequently the Host within the Monstrance in Adoration....BUT, to actually gaze-upon Our Lord's actual face, he was deeply moved.... Now, I did not list the Manopello Veil on the above list, or the various DVD documentaries I which itemized on the DVD thread. The intent of this sight is actual MOVIES, perhaps you perceive the difference? I too have noticed all of these things about him and have been impressed with his deep, genuine love, awe and reverence for his Lord Jesus Christ. There are times when I have seen tears in his eyes, and it seems, a tear fall down his cheek when he has gazed upon something of holy significance. If Christ was to come today, I am sure that Joseph Ratzinger would be ready to behold his Lord. Thanks for the links here regarding the DVD's which I will look into!
