Out of topic but I w'd like to know why this forum his now overrun by commercials ! I hope I won't be the only one to protest against this practice ! Also I think Benedict didn't appreciate so much consumer society !

Probably needs the money to keep the site going but it seems the commercials should be more in line with the character of the site, maybe something from Ignatius Press or some other Catholic-oriented enterprise or even the VW company (since Papa owned a Golf) and whichever car-maker donated the mini-popemobile.

To anyone out there who has pictures of B16 on any of his visits to the United States, please post them, or post them again! I don't think I've seen any picture of him New York, for instance. A few months back, someone posted a picture or two of the Cardinal when he was in the Bay area some time in 1999, but when I went back to copy, they were no longer visible! Budwud last June also posted a couple of nice pictures taken in the US - I managed to print those out, but I would love to be able to save them to my hard drive. Thank you in advance...

I have decided to just give up my desk and just have a bunch of pillows in my den for me and my lap top. With these latest photos of Papa I may never be able to sit at my desk again - unless I want to keep falling out of my chair. stunc and zoinks
