Good poll, it was hard to choose. In the end I went for priestly obedience, as it's hard to see what can be done if at the parish level there is dissent. Suitable corrective authority is important too, and dignified celebration of liturgy. Too often, lay people have decided to become 'liturgists' with the sole intent of people-centred warm waffle.
If priests preached spiritual renewal and stopped listening to fads, and got really good RCIA and first communion programs which really teach the faith, then this would make a big difference. |

Someone taking this poll, on the Ratzinger Fan Club, mind you, chose that the most pressing thing to be fixed is "We need to ordain women". If this is what Loyal Catholics believe, perhaps I ought to have added + Authentically Catholic Catechesis?

I went for the first answer as well. If the priests get it right, there is less need for corrective authority.
